Saturday was adventure-filled with a beautiful canal view, being hissed at by adolescent swans, and the Jewish Museum. The really amazing part was the museum, lacking a main exhibition, was absolutely free. The architecture and layout was breathtaking and really paid a true homage to the lives lost and those who survived.
Sunday is always a fun day because it involves DnD! This go round, we had stir fry and were surprised with an amazing pie made by one of our travellers. This was not only for us but also for one special birthday girl who was in our midst. We continued to celebrate her birthday the following day by going to a bar and drinking to good health and 22!
And of course, in the season of fall, we found pumpkins! They were too cute and part of the yearly fall festival in Schöneberg.
Today, I officially enrolled into my first German class in three+ years! I am super thankful that I can utilize my student status to further enhance my language skills. Additionally, I met with my research professor. We chatted for nearly two
hours (as musicologists do), and finally discovered a potential question amidst the tangles of information I had gleamed from various resources. I am ecstatic to begin research on this breakthrough and am excited for this semester to begin.
tschüss!
