So! November is basically over (only a few more hours left in the month, so I figured I'd try and post something before December rolled around.) I'm not feeling a long blog post this time , so this time I'm doing a short and concise numbered list (with pictures of course). The important thing to know is this season is my favorite because it was time to whip out my fuzzy scarves and nice sweaters. And of course the colorful leaves and falling of the leaves. As seen here. Anyway, cheers and happy reading!

The highlights of this month:
1. Running! I am running 3-4 times a week. Taking from a friend's idea, I've decided to train to run 24 km for my birthday, so I'm easing into larger distances as the weeks progress. I also participated in the Social Distancing Run where I challenged myself to run 100 miles. It was a slow process, but always gave me the encouragement to keep on going! I plan on running from Potsdam to Berlin, so here's to new adventures!
2. Biking! I bike off and on to travel throughout the city, but I've started this month to bike longer distances. I'm actually able to "bike" with my dad now because I have this awesome app where I can ride anywhere in the world. Yesterday he and I rode in a part of Australia, so maybe next time I'll ride somewhere in France. Mal schauen. (We will see :) )

3. Studies! The first month of my studies is already past. It went by super quickly. I am really enjoying my classes and my cohort and am excited to see what the future months have in store for me.
4. Scholarship! I am excited to announce that I received a scholarship here to fund the entirety of my studies. I'm really ecstatic because not only do they finance students but also offer seminars throughout the year and offer to help with furthering my German learning!
5. German! I made the bold decision to take a C1 German course in January. Now, I'm spending every morning and evening surrounding myself with as much German as I can. Ich muss ja viel üben! (I have to practice a lot!)
(I don't have pictures for 3-5, so here are some nice views.)
6. Social things! So when I say "social things" I mean outside, in the cold, with masks. Because it's still a pandemic, and we have to stay safe. SO with that, it's really great to support restaurants with take away, so some friends and I are doing just that. My favorite buy so far was from a dumpling restaurant. Then we ended the evening with some Glühwein to warm our frozen fingers and toes. It was cold and rainy, but the experience was worth it. For my Berlin and Potsdam friends, han west dumplings is where it's at!

As you have seen, there was nothing too huge for the month of November. Lots of running and working (and eating). I thank you all for reading this short blog post and wish you a pleasant evening xx
